一、教學目標
1. 能讀懂Let’s learn more部分的短文,正確理解并能靈活運用care earth, do bad things to, too many /much等短語。
2. 通過對短文的學習,培養學生的快速閱讀能力。
3. 通過對短文的學習,增強學生的環保意識。
二、教學準備
1. 教師準備:
(1)Let’s learn more部分的音頻(教師可在優教平臺直接下載使用)。
(2)課件或小黑板準備下列句子:
There are___ trees, flowers, rivers and___ on the earth.
We cut down___ ___ trees.
We waste___ ___ water and make the air___.
(3)一個地球儀和一張世界地圖。
(4)一些環??谔?。
2. 學生準備:
(1)一盒彩筆。
(2)一些彩紙。
三、教學方法建議
I. 課程導人(Leading In)
i. 課前問答
教師出示所準備的世界地圖,和學生進行討論。
T: Look. This is a map of the world. We live on it. What do the blue parts stand for?
Ss: Blue parts stand for oceans and seas.
T: What do green parts stand for?
Ss: Green parts stands for trees and grass.
T: Well. Our earth is beautiful, isn’t it?
ii. 新課導人
教師展示所準備的地球儀,引導學生觀察,從而引出本節課話題:
T: Hello, boys and girls. Look at the earth. We live on the earth. It’s our home. It’s our mother earth. Where do we live, can you point it out?
II. 課程展示活動和過程的設計建議(Presentation)
i. 新課展示
1. 教師結合短文內容提出問題,然后播放錄音,讓學生帶著問題聽短文,了解短文大意。
Question 1: What bad things do we do to our earth?
Question 2: What should we do?
2. 教師再次播放錄音,播放完畢后,隨機選出幾位學生回答上面的兩個問題,檢測他們對短文的理解情況。
Answer 1: We cut down too many trees. We waste too much water and make the air dirty.
Answer 2: We should care for our earth. We should do something to make the water and the air clean. We should plant more trees and help the animals.
ii. 閱讀理解
1. 讓學生讀短文的第一、二段,然后用課件或小黑板展示下列句子,讓學生根據閱讀的內容補全下列句子:
(1) There are trees, flowers, rivers and on the earth.
(2) We cut down trees.
(3) We waste water and make the air .
參考答案:(1) many, mountains (2) too many (3) too much, dirty
2. 教師讓學生勾畫出各自在閱讀課文時遇到的不熟悉的詞語,先請同學們根據語境猜猜這些詞語的意思,之后教師解疑答惑,講解短語care for, do bad things to.
(1)care for關心、愛護;如:
Alice has a white rabbit and she cares for it.
(2)do bad things to對……做壞事,損壞……;如:
We are friends. We shouldn’t do bad things to each other.
教師鼓勵學生試著用care for、do bad things說話,或教師給出漢語讓學生說出英語:
1. 爸爸媽媽都很愛護我。
2. 我們要愛護這些小樹木。
3. 人們不應該做損害我們地球的事情。
My father and mother care for me very much.
We should care for the small trees.
People shouldn’t do bad things to our earth.
(3)讓學生以組為單位討論many, too many, much,too much的用法,最后由教師進行匯總概括。
教學小貼士
many, much, too many, too much 的用法 1. many和much都表示“許多”。但many修飾可數名詞,much修飾不可數名詞。many和much都可以用a lot of替換,但a lot of一般用于肯定句中。如: There are many people in the park during the holidays. There is much milk and juice in the fridge. 2. too many, too much表示強調,意為“太多”。用法與many,much 基本相同,不同的是too much可作副詞短語,用來修飾動詞。如: I eat too much, so I don’t feel good. (修飾動詞eat) There is too much bread on the table. (修飾名詞bread) I’m very busy today, because I have too many things to do.(修飾名詞things) |
iii. 鞏固活動
1. 教師播放錄音,學生集體跟讀課文,教師注意糾正學生的發音問題。
2. 學生通讀短文,完成Read again and tick or cross部分的練習。

III. 操練活動的設計與實施建議(Practice Activities)
i. Part B Look, group, write and say
1. 教師引導學生認真觀察圖片,想一想圖中的花、草、人、船等物品應該用much和many哪個詞修飾,并進行分類。
參考答案:much: grass, water
many: trees, flowers, boys, girls, boats, ice-creams
2. 教師隨機點選學生用There is much…和There are many ...造句。如:
There is much water in the lake.
There are many boats on the lake.
ii. Part B Think and draw
1. 教師讓學生看著左邊的圖片,解釋設計意圖。
2. 教師請學生發揮想象,設計一幅有關環境保護的海報。
教師將學生分成若干組,給每組發一些環保語句,讓學生用彩筆將這些語句寫在彩紙上,下課后貼在教室的墻上或是校園的宣傳欄中。以下環??谔杻H供參考:
1. Save water.節約用水。
2. Turn off the lights before you leave.離開前請關燈。
3. Low Carbon Life.低碳生活。
4. Don’t walk on the grass.不要踐踏草坪。
5. Don’t waste food.不要浪費糧食。
